Bij mijn ontwikkeling als fotograaf heb ik altijd stil gestaan bij het proces. Hoe krijg je nu beelden met impact? Wat maakt een foto sterk? Niet alleen het ‘hoe’ vind ik interessant, maar ook het ‘waarom’. 

Ik heb gaandeweg ontdekt dat hoe dichter ik bij mezelf kwam, hoe beter mijn fotografie werd. Eerst in verbinding met mezelf en daarna in verbinding met mijn geportretteerde. 

Op authentieke wijze neem ik je mee in mijn benadering van portretfotografie. Het is een oneindige reis vol spannende bochten en ik maak je er graag deelgenoot van. 

During my development as a photographer, I have always reflected on the process. How do you create images with impact? What makes a photo strong? I find not only the ‘how’ interesting, but also the ‘why’.

I gradually discovered that the closer I got to myself, the better my photography became. First in connection with myself and then in connection with my model.
